Overview Brazil and Peru (34 Days)

This tour combines our Wonders of Peru 20-day adventure with our Beautiful Brazil 2 week experience. A perfect look into the highlights that both of these countries offer.

Please make sure to select whether you would like to INCLUDE the 1-day visit to Machu Picchu on your tour, or if you would prefer to book a 4-day/3-night trek through a third party operator under the “tour add-ons” section of your sign-up form. More information on that below.

Beautiful Brazil

Brazil is a country blessed with an abundance of picturesque landscapes, from the mystical Amazon jungle to the sun soaked dunes of the south. With year round tropical warmth and a wide diversity of people and cultures, Brazil offers adventures for all types of budgets. Whether you’re after days spent soaking up the sun, trekking through untamed jungles and wetlands, or testing out extreme sports like hang gliding and surfing, Brazil will deliver. Still a relatively untouched tourist destination, Brazil has preserved its natural beauty for you to enjoy without the hassle of the usual crowds. Sip the national cocktail, the Caipirinha, on the famous Copacabana and Ipanema beaches, look down on Rio from Christ the Redeemer, spend a night at some of South America’s best dance parties, surf the sand dunes, and discover firsthand why Ilha Grande is said to redefine the image of a tropical beach paradise. The beauties of Brazil await you!

Wonders of Peru

This is a tour for those seeking adventure. You won’t want to pause for even a moment with all the wonders Peru has to offer. With the great Incan Empire, the towering Andes, the mystical Amazon and the City of the Kings (Lima), there are few countries that can contain such a diverse blend of history, culture, landscape and wildlife. Start in Lima, the former Spanish colonial centre of the New World and the current capital of Peru, then move into the Amazon Rainforest, one of the most bio-diverse regions in the world. Monkeys, Pink River Dolphins, giant Otters, Sloths and the occasional Jaguar are all on the list of potential sightings. A visit to UNESCO World Heritage Site Machu Picchu will make for an incomparable day. Sand board and ride dune buggies at the oasis of Huacachina. Peru is waiting for the adventure-seeking traveler.
